Privacy settings may also be set.

  • [New Feature] Added new "Library Archive" document format (.mlz file) which is essentially a zip archive of a self-contained MemoryMiner .mmlib file format. The details of zip'ing and unzip'ing are handled automatically. The purpose of this file format is to facilitate transfer of MemoryMiner libraries between the Mac and Windows version of the program. A "Library Archive" is created using the File menu "Export Library Archive."

  • [New Feature] Through a clever integration with PulpMotion (by Aquafadas), you can load multiple MemoryMiner libraries, visually browse them by people and place, then drag and drop your annotated photos into a PulpMotion timeline. The selection markers created in MemoryMiner are automatically converted into PulpMotion "Regions of Interest" which guide the camera in the animation. Other data such as the people's names and ages, dates, titles and captions are used to great effect using two specially designed PulpMotion templates — called "Slide Flyover" and "Memory Album". Add your favorite music, adjust parameters such as timing, duration, and see the results using a real time preview.

Output options include Quicktime movies suitable for iPhone/iPod/Web/HD or a special standalone PulpMotion viewers that looks like a postcard.

More information and special pricing for MemoryMiner users is available here:

  • [Enhancement] It is now possible to add captions to selection markers. This text is searchable using the "Quick Search" feature. It is also possible to have selection markers that aren't linked to a person. After creating a selection marker, simply press "Cancel" in the People Picker window. To add notes to any selection marker, simply click on the "Text" button that appears in the lower left corner of the selection marker.

  • [Enhancement] The age of the person is now displayed in the marker, when it can be calculated. Changes to the date of a photo will updated the selection markers currently being displayed. The age is displayed in months through 24 months, then in years.

  • [Enhancement] HTML export now features the latest, greatest Yahoo Maps Flash viewer.

  • [Bug Fix] Problems with adding and removing search filters using the check boxes have been fixed.

  • [Bug Fix] When toggling between "Match Any" and "Match All" in the search filter, currently displayed photos will be cleared from the Contact Sheet when all search criteria aren't met.

  • [Bug Fix] Closing the main MemoryMiner window will now quit the application. This is consistent with the behavior of single window applications like iPhoto, and avoids potential crashes when trying to subsequently open or create a new document.

  • [Bug Fix] The sort ordering of the photos displayed in the People and Place editor views is now properly sorted by the date they were taken (AKA "Creation Date") even for photos that have partial dates.
